# Ping in Activity Log and DOM

Ping is a crucial factor for traders, especially those operating in fast-paced or highly competitive environments, as it directly affects order execution speed and access to real-time market data.

To open the Activity Log in a separate window, select **Activity Log** from the **View** dropdown menu in the top-left corner of the Bar Menu.

Additionally, the ping of the last action is displayed in the DOM above the trade tape.
