# Sign up

Your first step toward working on the platform is [downloading](https://macos.tiger.trade/) and installing Tiger.com for macOS.

**1.** Open the application

**2.** Click **Create an account** in the app’s login window.

**3.** In the next window, enter an email address and password for your new account. Click **Connect**

**4.** You’ll get an email with a confirmation code to enter in the next window. Click **Confirm email**, after which the app will start downloading. If you didn’t get a code, check your spam folder or wait a minute and request it again. Codes are active for ten minutes

After logging in to the application, you’ll need to [**connect to an exchange**](/features/how-to-start/connect-to-exchanges.md) to start trading.
