# Cannot paste the public or secret key

If you cannot paste your public or secret key while adding Binance, please check

* the copied key should not have a "space" before or after
* the copied key should not contain one of the specific symbols - "!"№%:,.;()"
  * If it contains, please re-create the key.&#x20;
